Celebrate the rich legacy of The Open Championship - one of the famous four annual Majors in the male golf calendar - with an unforgettable journey across Scotland’s most iconic courses. To 2024’s prestigious host, Royal Troon, to the magic of the Old Course, the venue for the legendary tournament in 2027 and the spiritual home of the game, this is your chance to tee off on some of Scotland's premier golf courses. Imagine standing where Nicklaus, Woods, and the greats once battled for the Claret Jug - you can write your own chapter in golfing history with this Open golf tour!
This is more than a golf tour; it’s a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the heritage of golf, surrounded by world-class hospitality and unforgettable landscapes. For the discerning golfer, this is the ultimate Scotland golf trip.
The Open Venues Signature Tour is designed for those adventurous golfers who want to tick off some the worlds most prestigious Championship courses in one tour.
During your trip, you will get the opportunity to play on both the east and west coast of Scotland and experience some of the best golf the country has to offer. Staying at the Marine Troon, here you will play Prestwick, and Royal Troon's Old course. Home to the first ever Open Championship in 1860, Prestwick Golf Club has hosted a total of 24 Open Championships, with the last one being in 1925. Royal Troon is also consistently recognised as one of the best courses in Scotland.
The next leg of the trip sees you move across to St Andrews, the Home of Golf where you will stay 4 nights at the Rusacks Hotel, which overlooks the 18th hole of the Old Course. Whilst in St Andrews you will be treated to four more rounds of golf including Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the legendary Old Course. Often referred to as Carnastie, Carnoustie is regarded as one of, if not the hardest course on the Open rota, so expect your game to be tested here. The Old Course has hosted the Open 30 times, and gears up to host the iconic event in 2027.
Along with playing some of the greatest golf courses in the world, you will get to see and experience much of what Scotland has to offer on the way.
Whether they’re along for the golf or just the experience, all family members and friends are welcome.
From casual explorers to those looking for more structured activities while you’re on the course, our expert team can help. Our off the course programme will show you the very best that Scotland has to offer off the fairway, giving you a sample of its history, culture and diversity. From historic castles to relaxing in the spa, your trip is just as important as that of the golfers!
